"He" was an alien from another world, maybe that is what is going on because it is happening all too often.

Around downtown St. Pete, though, I've seen signs warning that cameras have gone up. We'll see if that makes any difference. I actually think if they want to increase revenue, they should focus on 19, where it happens most often, IME.

Right after I wrote this I drove up 19, where I did see cameras flashing at a couple different intersections. Just wanted to correct my information.

Thanks for this thread. As a new Florida snowbirder, I am well warned, both of red light cameras, and to have a look around before I pull out on a green light.

One question--where I live, the green light is delayed a couple of seconds, after the lights turn red in the other direction. Is this true in Florida? (I'm in Dunedin.)
