So I just moved back to Florida from Texas. I had a TX driver's license(I'm 21), and went to the DMV to switch over. I showed the lady at the DMV all the required paperwork and everything. She took my picture, then made the new license for me. Everything looked fine until I got home later that day and it said "Learner License" right next to my picture.

I'm going back again tomorrow morning but I'm just confused. Maybe the lady screwed up? Read something wrong? I Didn't want to go back again after I got home because the lines were too long.

What do you guys think?

Sounds like she screwed up. They put my correct street address and city zip code on my FL DL, but they accidentally put the state as SC instead of FL. I caught it as soon as they handed it to me and they redid the license at that moment. So they do mess up.

Unfortunately...sounds like a typical DMV. Sorry about that.

Yeah, screwed by the DMV. A story in everyone's life.

I got it all settled earlier today, and she corrected it for free. Thank God I didn't have pay again because it costs like $50. She thought I was renewing which costs about $30. I win DMV!!!
