I agree DodgeGirl. Those Nascar Rednecks with their million-dollar motor coaches are a threat to our highways. And the way they pour boatloads of money into the local economy is just awful. Most of the hard-working blue collar fans can spell and some fans even have college degrees. OMG, they're almost as bad as the biker crowd! And beware! There are Nascar fans EVERYWHERE! They may be your bank teller, your doctor, your lawn guy. Just because they're not sporting their favorite driver's T-shirt, doesn't mean you're not in danger.

What's really scary is the truly ignorant and narrow-minded tripe of some of these posts.

But, that's just me. There are exceptions, of course.

I find that all the football, nascar, etc. revolting at best. I think it was Ron Paul or some other political actor that was calling for an intellectual revolution in America, but...I'm not gona loose any sleep over it. Take their TV sets away, and it's like a lobotomy.
Well first of all, what are you going to do, take a survey from everyone in an area to see if they like NASCAR and other sports? Considering NASCAR, football, and other sports are multi billion dollar a year industries, it will be difficult to find an area in the US, and the world, that does not have a significant amount of the population who have those interests.

By the way, a NASCAR race is around three hours a week, that leaves plenty of tiem for those other things you described.

And no, I hate NASCAR, but you forced me to defend it, so thanks.

What percentage of NASCAR fans own million dollar motor coaches?

LOL Check out the infield at any Nascar race and that answer will be found. They may not be "million dollar" coaches they but they are 100's of thousands of dollars. The same can be said for those pesky bikers. I have seen many buses at biker events that cost more than most peoples homes.

Wow!

There are a lot of snobby folks here! DB is not an area that caters to the snob set. Go down to Boca Raton or Palm Beach IF you can afford it. :shakeshead:

I prefer beaches that don't allow dogs. They ****/**** everywhere, and people don't obey leash laws and think it's a dog park and let them run off the leash harrassing/attacking people and of course the famous "my dog doesn't bite" line. The beach is not a dog park.

Again, there are many beaches that do not allow dogs, I do not see the problem with a few allowing them.

There is this same recurring argument in Miami over the one nude beach here. People complain about yet, yet those complainers have miles and miles of beaches to choose from.

Some people just feel the need to complain about every little thing, even when it does not impact them, or those people go out of their way to make sure it impacts them (I just HAVE to go to THAT particular beach!)

The casino argument for Miami is going the same direction, with many of the opponents not even residing in Miami. If you are not living here, why in the heck are you trying to push your views on people who do over such micro economical matters?

I agree. Very FEW allowing them is completely fine. Like dog beach in San Diego. Every other beach in the area doesn't allow them.(as far as I know) It's just when there allowed at every or most beach's that it's compltely ridiculous.
