Hi I am going to taking a job in Tampa and I am looking to live in Hudson fl. Some thoughts, or info would be helpful.

Theres a lot nicer areas within the same distance to Tampa than Hudson. We lived on the outskirts of Hudson for ten years. Believe me, there are better areas.

Good flea market close by, has a little beach,Got Walmart.Got Hospital.
Gonna be a long commute to Tampa if you are going with the normal rush hour times.

And that hospital now has a Level II trauma center.

I would bet that the old Sun West Mine is going to be a water park pretty soon.

Jimbo: You may not recognize US 19 when you see it.
They are even getting sidewalks and a bike path that seems to go
from 50 down into Hudson and beyond.

But yes, a commute to Tampa it will be.

Default looking to move to fl

ok so it looks like hudson is out, can anyone tell me of some more affordable places that are closer to tampa. We are moving from va and don't really know the area. How's things in new port ritchie

About the same just substitute the beach for a Hooters.
If you are going to be working in Tampa you may want to live in one of the Tampa suburbs. I'm not familiar with that area but many are..
