Dear forum,
Greetings,
I'm a college student who are doing a paper about saltwater industry, esp. about Tridacna (giant clam), in Florida. According to a reference (Ornamental Market), it stated that according to American Pet Products Manufacturers Association, Inc. (2002):
:more saltwater fish owners live in the northeast and south Atlantic regions of the U.S.
:more saltwater fish owners live in larger cities while more freshwater fish owners live in more rural areas
:saltwater fish owners report a higher household income than freshwater owners...
:saltwater fish owners have a higher proportion of minority ownership (of saltwater aquariums)

I need to know your opinion about these facts...
And for those who owned saltwater aquarium, what is your favorite species for your tank? what do you think about having Tridacna in your tank?

Thank you [/LEFT]

I think you wont get too many replies from people who have a 2 ft tall clam in their saltwater tanks, most have some anemone's and some small colorful reef fish with some real or fake coral..
You might get some info from the Tampa Aquarium..
