Where would you live?

Based on current traffic, shopping, crime, schools, housing, jobs, activities...

I'm kinda partial to the east coast between Daytona and St Augustine with high marks going to Flagler beach.

Love this area. If I ever move to Florida it will be in this area. I found the people to be pretty laid back, nothing flashy.

I'm pretty happy where I am, northeast Florida (specifically Amelia Island).

I am very partial to northwest Florida, but finding viable employment there is not easy.

i like the layout of tampa (save for the ghetto north of downtown) and its level of activity, but prefer the slightly-milder climate of jacksonville so i guess i'm screwed. if/when we have kids and if we're still in florida at that time, i'd say ponte vedra beach.

I really enojy Naples/SWFL are save for Lehigh and some parts of Ft. Myers. I love that I live so close to the beach. We have a childrens museum and water parks lots of shopping dinning etc etc. The snowbirds are annoying yah but they're all over in Fla so thats not something I can really escape so why stress it!

This is a great question because you will find all kinds of answers.
If I had to pick a place in Florida, it would be Miami even with all its issues. I like the diverse culture Miami has, Miami has a liberal feeling (doesn't feel like you are in the South), the cruise ships are close by, International Airport for travel, restaurants, shops, so many events, the list goes on and on etc. Miami has so many things to do for people of all ages. The only draw back of Miami is the length of time the heat and humidity sticks around. The other drawback Miami has, it's so far south. Driving someplace out of the state, it takes 6 hours to just get out Florida.

Orlando. You're within an hour to multiple beaches yet you get to live in a diverse, young city with world-class attractions, shopping and restaurants. Less than an hour away is Port Canaveral where you can take a cruise anywhere you wish.
