Hey everyone I know this has been posted before but some threads were old. Anyways I want to move to Florida soon and I've never been there, here are some thing that I want:

-Probably rent an apartment with some roommates
-Being able to run, bike and hang out
-Beautiful beaches(on or within walking distance)
-Nightlife(many bars, parties and clubs!!!)
-Singles(many people from all races)
-Not around rednecks or ghettos(not being racist)
-Safe area
-Walking distance to store and shopping if possible

Any help is much appreciated!!! Thanks

Doesn't matter if its city like or suburban like I just want beach. My main focus is the beach living with many mid 20's singles around & plenty of nightlife!

Moving to a place you've never been to with the idea of endless summer on the beaches and just partying away every day?
OK South Beach, Fort Lauderdale,Key West have beaches and bars..enjoy..

If you are still into being a street vendor heres a helpful site.

An exploratory trip to the area may prove useful in seeing how many other street vendors/competition are in the area.

I would suggest a visit. The reality of Florida is very different from the romantic, sun drenched fantasy that appears on TV.

Exactly, and it's a very large state with many different types of places to live. It doesn't all look and feel like South Beach.

I'd look at South Beach, Ft. Lauderdale Beach and maybe Key West.

Keep in mind that the active, young singles scene that you're looking for will be concentrated very near the beach area generally, so if you choose Miami for example, do what you can to be out on Miami Beach rather than in Miami-proper. You don't want to be 4-5 miles inland because then you'll have to drive to get to all the nightlife and other things that you're looking.

Sounds like you're young and single, the perfect time to have these kinds of adventures.

Did you ever taste baker's chocolate? Yeah, it looks nice and tasty just like sweet chocolate, but when you bite into it, it's not what you were expecting; it's bitter and nasty. And the taste stays in your mouth and you gag and just can't shake that horrible feeling. Well, that's exactly the same with Florida.
