I was born deep in the heart of Florida, It's my native land, and I agree with crazynip. They should close the borders to new residents until the state gets itself back on its feet completely. Just my $0.02.

RMD, That was classic! Too funny! The shame here is that you cannot get a position before you move unless you are a specialist in some area of demand. I just do not hear back from employers and I believe it is because I am not in Florida yet. We will have quite a bit of money to tide us over until we do get some type of menial job that will pay the household expenses. But you did make me think with that video. Thank you!

Hey, very late with this and hopefully youre still on here but have you moved to Florida yet? And if so how was it at first? Looking to do the same. Am currently working, rebuilding credit and have savings. I would like to move to Vero Beach/Port St. Lucie by the summer. This way my kids dont have to worry about starting school in the middle of the year.
