This is interesting. I had no idea something like this existed. We are moving in 3 weeks and this would be great to let my daughter finish this year of 7th grade instead of starting a new school mid year.

FLVS is a Flagship in Virtual Public Education... many states in the US are looking on. Check it out, ask questions and read over their website.

The credit is the same as any brick and mortar public school, I have had two children us it, both graduated. The oldest one was just excepted to Case Western University's Engineering Program in Cleveland and the youngest boy is in I.T. with the U.S. Army National Guard of Florida.

I suggest starting with one class to see if FLVS is the right fit. You have 28 days to drop the class without penalty is it does not work out. My son is an excellent student but does not like virtual classes. He managed getting an A in Latin 2 but felt like he did not learn anything. This year he decided to try AP Statistics online but dropped it because he was feeling the same way about it as he had Latin 2.
