Hello again, we are relocating to FL in a few weeks, as my DH has a job in Lakeland. We can't find a home in Lakeland that we like and are wondering what the commute time is from New Tampa area to Lakeland. Anyone have first hand knowledge of this? Doing this research via the internet is tough! Thanks!

That would be a horrible commute. I think it would be about 45-50 minutes if there aren't any accidents on I-4 or I 75

I am going to double confirm that for you. It is a horrific commute that you really do not want to make. There are plenty of nice neighborhoods in Lakeland, I would look right there if I were you, south side.
