i dont think the real estate bubble ruined fla. i think ppl did ruin some of it. i wouldnt say all of fla is ruined. but it's interesting the places that ppl love and are considered old fla, you know, where ppl are still polite and nice, havent been invaded yet. it's interesting how that works.

This issue of taxes is the only unfair one, the insurance situation is manageable, but only taxes come with the terrorist confiscation threat given to the Government. I see how the high taxes has caused our business to be less competitive in the global market and how tax money is grossly mismanaged. Every time I drive through Miami and see the traffic backed up by 4 way stop signs and "roundabouts" financed by out of control taxes it just steams me up. I am also tired of the suggestions to move to North Carolina or Tennessee. Something has to be done to get our life back because each second of life is too precious to waste supporting this system.

As mentioned above the energy shortages will add to the burden on local businesses. Once they start leaving and not returning, Florida is in deep trouble. High property taxes are the cause of most of Florida's problems today.
What happen with your homestead exception? Got it?

Still waiting for a trial date. Just been filing briefs and reading their responses. Also keeping in touch with friends in Alabama, that may be my next stop!

Heck, we have a ways to go yet. Bush admitted tonight there's a 13 TRILLION shortfall in socialist security. What he's not admitting is the total unfunded liabilities are between 40 and 60 TRILLION which is in addition to the 9 Trillion showing.

The first official wave of baby boomers start collecting socialist security in 2008.

The only way to float 2008 is going to be to borrow even more and print more thereby devaluing the incredible shrinking dollar which at this point is being shunned thruout the world and the MAIN REASON why the neocons want another war, this time with Iran who has stated that they no longer want dollars in payment for oil ( only gold and euros ).

People have been begging for more and more socialist programs not THINKING ( the mind is a terrible thing to waste) that somebody has to pay for this and this is the reason why most socialist countries implode and the people are left owning nothing.

So if you think the present taxes are something, wait. It's just starting.
