We had thousands of complains about Florida, you name it you got it. My thread is a simple one for the ones that have taken action to make your area better. If you assisted on a project or organization that is assisting to correct problems in your area, please post.

Maybe working together as a team we can provide feedback to assist other.

I have assist in a number of project/organization working with the youth (sports/academic):

USAF Mentor Program for Public Schools
Optimist Club
N of C
Life Teen
Morale Welfare Recreation programs (coaching)
Catholic Charities
Boys Scout
CAP
Emergency/Disaster Coordinator
Big Brother/Big Sister
Police/Sheriff crime watch programs
Residential crime prevention programs

The above programs provided options to our youth/parents and positively affected the communities.

What about you?

Default Volunteer Work

Once that I arrive in Florida I may pursue volunteer work as I've done so in the past where I live now. I volunteered for "Transport" (wheel-chairs) at a local hospital for a short period and found it rewarding. I also volunteered for stocking and cashiering at the local used items store which gave all the contributions to charity. I would recommend volunteer/charitable work to anyone who has the time/ability to do it.
