I'm 20, not a college student, however I am considering moving to Gainesville in a year or two. With me being the age I am I really wanna be around alot of people my age and the party crowd is cool with me. Are there apartment complexes away from the university that are primarily where students from UF live? If so, what are some large, notable, and possibly wild ones, lol.

Being 20, not a college student, and considering moving to Gainesville, FL, you should be concerned with the prospects of finding a job to support yourself, rather than partying. Possibly enrolling at Santa Fe and living on loans, for example, while you party ?

To relocate to a city in the middle of nowhere like Gainesville, that has 50,000 college students at UF and another 15,000 at Santa Fe (who, are most likely also looking for part-time work) isn't exactly a smart thing to do.. that is.. unless you're independently wealthy and can afford to just party all day and night ?

Honestly, I think you'd have more of a chance in Tallahassee, atleast job wise.

Campus Lodge, Gainesville Place, the Enclave, the Estates, Jefferson at 2nd Avenue (they changed the name of this complex, I don't know to what). All of those are big apartment complexes with lots of parties. The Estates is well known for its pool parties, and the apartment parties at all of the others were always a lot of fun. Gainesville is a great town, but it is very easy for people to lose sight of reality up there. So many people go up there for school, party too much, fall into debt, and are never able to leave. Just make sure you remain responsible and grounded.
