Not me. Not interested in pulling out the coats or sweaters.

I lived in Sarasota and now live in Fort Lauderdale and to me, the west coast summers are hotter and more humid and the winters in Fort Lauderdale are much warmer.

In the summer here you can sit outside at night and it is comfortable. That might also be because we are surrounded by water.

Inland, in places like Plantation and Weston that might not be the case.

I lived in Weston and winter was perfectly great temperate weather.

I think you are correct about the weather.its very hot on the west side in the summer. Plus the bugs or mosquito are vicious.on they other cost its seem to get colder in the winter months.we don't seem to have a bad mosquito problem here.

Better breezes disperse the mosquitoes.

Plus cooler air off the Atlantic than off the Gulf, makes a big difference. Mid East coast has the most moderate weather overall. South the warmest Winters and North the coolest Winters. Just the opposite for Summer.
