I'm not sure how Florida is going to improve the states unemployment rate-I do not believe Florida can effectively lure companies here when the workforce here is primarily unskilled. The majority of companies here now are small companies that do not pay workers.

I love how Rick Scott is taking credit for "job creation", which is a natural by-product of economic recovery. Left out of the article are the types of jobs being created as Orlando for instance overall has lost nearly 12.5% of median household income over the past three years. It's probably safe to assume most of those jobs aren't the type one has to go to college for or provide a decent living wage with benefits.

It's ok. Many on the left credit Obama with the robust stock market recovery since 2009, although most of that is likely due to central bank/federal reserve monetary policy. Or like when Bush II was conspiring to raise oil prices in 2007-2008

I don't disagree with that and just mention it in that yet again our lame excuses for journalism in essence printed the official Scott news release in verbatim. The local press for some reason loves the guy and won't publish much if any contradictory information, despite credible sources.
