Hi, single female 40 something looking to return to FL after being gone 10-11 years. Lived in Central FL. Looking for coastal town, quiet, safe. Not adverse to a dating scene for my age. I may have my college age daughter with me. I will come debt free for the most part, currently work for a big medical company, may be able to transfer or find something new. I kind of like Clearwater, St Pete area...Also Pensacola, Destin. Does anyone recommend a smaller, coastal town? thank so much.

Fernandina Beach, northeast of Jacksonville. It kind of flies under the radar but think it's one of Florida's best kept secrets.

I think Dunedin and Safety Harbor are nice small coastal towns.

you have the right idea by choosing Clearwater or st Pete. Dunedin is right north of Clearwater and is quaint.
