Watched the new SP episode about Hawaii how people think they are "natives" of Hawaii after being there for a year or two. This episode reminded me of exactly how FL is (of course some of the local customs are different). Any thoughts on this. I assume I will get flamed for this post being as 95% of the Florida advice board is filled with Northerners.

I don't get the impression that people feel they are natives when the move to Florida. I've been here 4 years, and I love it, but I don't think I will ever feel like a native. I've spoken to people who have been here longer that don't even feel much a connection to it yet.

As far as South Park goes the creators should focus on writing funny scripts instead of doing Broadway musicals. This season and last have really sucked.

Been here 18 years would never consider myself a native.
A native would've been born/raised here.
