We were in Salem and drove from there to Fall River. Only saw ONE Obama sign and ONE Romney sign. It was strange. No bumper stickers in all that driving. Same in NY. Maybe because Ma. and NY are simply foregone conclusions? Actually, not many signs or stickers in Naples either. Maybe this election because of high tensions on both sides, people don't want to make their views known?

Bombarded doesn't begin to describe it. Four out of five commercials and pieces of mail in the box are political. It's disgusting. We could have made a dent in the national debt with the amount of money being spent on political campaigns this year.

Yup.

It's pretty much a temporary stimulus program for TV stations and the US Postal service.

Yes! It is so terrible and has been going on for months. We mute the TV everytime one comes on, so sometimes it's muted for an entire commercial break because there is no point in turning the volume up just so that another ad can come on. They also have radio station ads, mailings, and sometimes my sister gets phone calls with recorded messages. I really can't wait until this is over.

The other day Jennifer Lopez called me and told me to vote Obama. I was like great idea, Jenny knows her stuff.

Then Mitt Romney call me like 3 times to listen to his plan. It sounded like change so I'm voting for Romney now.

I'm still waiting for Michelle Obama to call me like 4 years ago, I might change my vote, I just need a few more phone calls and tv ads to help me make the right decision.

I'm with you Annie! That and listening to people pontificate on topics they don't bother to read anything about and just eat whatever pablum they're fed by a single news source.

And sometimes the calls are real people, too. LOL The list of blocked numbers on my phone grew from about 5 to over 35 in the last few months.
