Tallahassee would survive as a city only because it is the capital, but you still have the question of all of the abandoned un-used buildings.

BTW, Bethune Cookman is a private university.

The only thing I would change about the university system is that USF needs to be re-named. Tampa is not, and has never been a part of "South Florida". The only reason they named it that is because at the time of its founding, it was the southernmost public university in the state. Now you have FGCU, FAU, and FIU which are all further south.
I'm guessing the OP just wanted to create a fun thread showing where people would stick the universities,I don't think he's serious about moving them around(at least I don't think he's serious),they're fine where they're at.What would be really fun is if someone posted this exact thread on other states boards, for example see where someone would move Boise St.university.

Yes of course. It's all in fun. Why on earth would I want to relocate the Universities? haha.

Just goes to show people don't even have a creative side anymore. At Least a few of you got it.

But that indeed would be fun. I can imagine the debates now! Would be interesting to see where people would put different schools!

I didnt "Forget" any school. I took the most popular and notable ten in the state and asked if we were to move them, which city would each University fit in if they were relocated. In other words if we could pick and plop schools from the time they started where might some of the schools be now.

Its not a serious University relocation thread. I can't see how you people would even assume something of the sort.

The OP forgot about UNF too. I guess some peoples' idea of exploring Florida is going between Palm Beach and Miami. Robyn
