I would go to indeed.com and find a job first, then move according to that.

If I had to choose a place, it would definitely be Tallahassee. I think that's the most beautiful part of the state. I love the rolling hills and the woods and living in Tallahassee would provide a short drive to some of the worlds nicest beaches, not to mention you're within a reasonable drive of Atlanta, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, and Birmingham. All are within a 6 hour drive for weekend trips.

Not to mention it's home to one of the greatest Universities on the planet!

If I were to move somewhere else in Florida..... it would be the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. It is just urban enough to keep you busy but not as congested as South Florida.

As to the HVAC work, you know it does get cold in Florida, too . I live near Daytona Beach, and had to use my heat for most of January. Wherever you move to, you'll find year round work.

If I had to move to Florida, I'd probably go to either Orlando or Miami.

I think I'd try Orlando if you're strictly basing it on work.

Isn't Orlando relatively young too by FL standards?
