I wish people would bother to post the actual stories instead of just posting links. Even just one paragraph would be nice.

sometimes, it's a copyright thing. you aren't supposed to post a lot of the article i think. Some get really anal and assume that means even one paragraph

11th place is good! What is Miami the 8th largest metro has HORRIBLE public transit and sits as 11th most congested. After cities which are larger and have better transit. Sounds good to me. Traffic sucks in Miami, don't get me wrong. The worst thing is how you can't predict it much there can be traffic at 1am or 1pm and the drivers are the worse but traffic in LA, DC, Boston, NYC, Chicago is sooo much more worse from what I have personally seen and transit in all those cities is soooo much better.

The OP did the correct thing and Chop is correct. Posting a link or just a few sentences ok, please don't post the whole story.

I agree, given the size and layout of the Miami area minus the level of mass transit of similar metro areas it's actually not doing that badly.

This should come as no surprise as Miami/South FL is limited to a very small area geographically. The Atlantic to the East and Everglades to the West make further expansion impossible. When you condense that many people in that small area with no comprehensive mass transit of course there will be congestion, but that's the price you have to pay to live there.

I live in broward county and I don't think the traffic is that bad.
I mean, it's not great, but it's something that affects me so deeply or is that bad, that I even notice really.

During rush hour, traffic is heavy. That's kinda it.

I was going to say that I drive daily in Houston and I don't think it's as bad as traffic in Dade County, but I guess that's just my opinion.

I think the biggest complaint about south florida driving isn't traffic, but how horrible the drivers are.
