LOL

Try I-45 in Houston, TX at 5PM during the week. Five lanes both ways packed with hot, hungry, cranky people.

Houston Chronicle

I've driven in 49 states, including Florida, and Phoenix, AZ wins the stupid driver contest hands down. Passing on the right, passing in turn lanes, passing on the curb... all of these things on 8 lane freeways where all the left lanes are open. Driving 90+ in 45 mph construction zones. Tailgating when there is plenty of room to pass. "Drafting" semi-trucks. No matter how fast you are going, someone will always fly right up on your bumper and then weave back and forth like they think they are NASCAR drivers, even though they could just as easily pass in the empty left hand lanes.

Almost no police presence at all and when you do see a cop on the side of the road they are usually just standing around talking to another cop.

I agree. Houston's the worst and Boston is a close second.

There are other cities that are worse, but I think the northerners wont stop until FL has the worst roads in the US, must be a secret goal of theirs.

I drive that route everyday and seldom do I see people driving like idiots.

You have stupid drivers confused with congestion.

Los Angeles is the worst.

Nah. I've lived in Los Angeles. The traffic is terrible and people can certainly get stupid when trying to make a left-hand turn, but there are places that are way worse.

Maybe it is because 66% of the people in Florida are from some other state.Where they are not so used to driving. I am born raised and currently live in Florida.

You see it all. People slamming on brakes for a green light and accelerating for a red. The people who cut across 4 lanes of traffic at the last second so they won't miss their turn.
