Yeah try Dade or Broward and parts of Palm beach counties that are not full of retired people. Orlando is rather similar to Tampa( a little more liberal) but it's far from the coast

If you think Tampa is bad, you must not be familiar with Lee and Collier counties. They make Tampa look like LA or NYC.

Port St Licie to me looks very conservative. I have a hard time finding a non christian radio station when I'm there. In that sense it' similar to SW florida. In the west is more meth junkies while in the east is more crack addicts. Pick your poison

The other day I went to Ft Myers(or misery?) and I was listening to the Ave Maria station(a catholic university town created by the founder of Dominos pizza). They were saying that surrogacy was a sin and all that crap. Another great radio station had Glen beck and Rush Limbaugh. I was in hell, I think I need a satellite radio subscription.

I go to those towns often but I have never lived there. Some days I think I coukd live there but other days I think I can't.

This is why I choose to live in Broward county. I couldn't take all that Christian stuff and small-town/minded people. UGH! with a capital U

I heard through the 'grapevine' that all the LGBT and artsy-craftsy people are moving to affordable and not overbuilt Lake Worth. You might want to consider parts of Dania Beach and Hollywood in Broward.
