Hi Ellen,

You might want to make a list of what is important to you and then search for those features in Florida to help you narrow down your search. Do you like to golf? Ballet? Symphony?Fine dining? or do you like crushed shell paths, hammocks and lunch in a picnic basket? All of those things you can find in Florida but they are in different locations.

Once you decide on what you really want out of Florida, then you can target a few places that fit your needs.

One thing I can tell you is that it is a great place to live. Enjoy your journey!

This is great! Someone from CT and actually likes Florida still after they moved. I am a little afraid of all the stories I have been hearing. Particularly about the bugs, alligators, sharks, and crime. lol So any reassurance you can give me is appreicated.

As previously stated, Palm coast is nice. Another good place would be Vero Beach. A little further south and a little warmer in the winter.
