Just called a realtor to make an inquire on a place and if my offer was in the ball park would drive there today to view the property. They already have a contract on it and it has only been to the market for 8 days. Lets be honest here, if the price is right the buyers are out there.

Probably no one on here other them me would be interested in this property but here is what it was,
I'm am sorry but I decided to delete the link to the property, but it is in North Florida. 10 acres with a small house for $89,900. Right in the area I have been looking. It is a nice 10 acres also around 660 x 660. Some are awful like 200 x 1000. I don't like skinny acreage's.

i would love that much privacy, but i would definitely paint the house a more neutral color. it seems like a good deal any way that you look at it!

My landlord just bought a lowrise condo in FLL (north end) 2/1. A friend of hers bought there in early summer and loves it. So, my landlord bought the condo for 30K!!!! Even with condo fees etc it will be an extremely affordable vacation home. She said it was dirty, but otherwise sound. She is there now doing more cosmetic work, but very happy with her purchase.

I was shocked at the price, you can buy a car for that price!

You're serious? I have a lot that floods every few years, with no house and they assess it over 100,000 and it's in Florida's most unemployed county on a dirt road! I cannot believe that affordable rural homes exist in Florida.

You never know what's behind a deal. Divorce, someone dies and it is an estate. I know a guy whose father died in Virginia and his family had their house sold at auction. No one even wanted to go there and take care of the house. There are like six kids that live all over the country and all are either doctors or lawyers like their dad.

The estate was in the millions anyway and as far as the house went once cut up it would not amount to a lot more per person anyway and they have busy lives so their not taking time off. Long story short The one kid told me they got $400,000 for the house. I swear the house on the market would have brought $700,000 at least, they just didn't care.

When you look at the appraisers website you can sometimes guess what the deal with a property. The place I was looking at I would bet was bought by a neighbor or someone familiar with it. They just wanted a quick sale, like right now I guess. Those deals are few and far between but it shows that price is the factor. I believe someone wanting to sell needs to decide just how low they are willing to go and how serious they are about selling. If the price is right things sell.

With the proper research you can find deals that will shock many. This sounds like a great deal, privacy, some home improvements, maybe build a few cabins and lease to the folks that want to get away from the large cities...
