I am moving to the Florida Keys from Easthampton Mass and am leaving Sunday Sept 30th at 2 am. I will be taking I-95 all the way. Does anyone know if I will beat any "rush hour" traffic? I have NEVER driven alone on a long trip as this will be and would like to be prepared...

You might want to post this in the Travel thread where you find many travelers. Just saying.

Driving all day Sunday will give you less traffic (Relative term) through the big cities section of the trip.
Take naps when needed, Florence SC will be about the halfway point.

Traveled 1-95 from I-26 in South Carolina last weekend and the traffic was pretty light even through Jacksonville. If not at a drive time(6-9AM or 3-7PM on weekdays), stay right on 95 through Jacksonville. It saves miles and time. Still working on 95 in parts of Florida and sometimes lane closures at night which can slow you down some. Have a safe trip.

Check out my very extensive post to the other thread you posted this to, in Travel. Plenty of FL details, but also details for the rest of the way, since I do this trip somewhat frequently.
