I was working for my previous employer for 8 months, from March 2013- October 2013. I applied for unemployment but it says there is an adjudication determination. The base period is what I'm confused about since it goes back from July 2012- June 2013. I voluntarily quit 2 jobs in 2012 and those are within the base period. Will I be denied benefits since I quit my jobs in the past? Or since I was laid off from my previous employer they just check all my previous jobs to see how much I will receive? PLEASE HELP!

I wouldn't count on it as those with legit criteria still aren't receiving it.....in the neighborhood of just 15% of applicants ever see any compensation thanks to the elected slimeballs in Tallahassee.

i was laid off in mid October and have yet to receive any benefits yet..mine says the same thing..it is just the normal preliminary investigation..i will be getting benefits for i was legitimately laid off after a year and have all the appropriate documentation showing my company is shut down. it takes forever here just keep claiming your weeks. i plan on getting about 1200 here soon as the adjudication is done because i have not received any yet and the back date to a point passed first week. You have to stay on it..its ridiculous down here. I received benefits fr 9 months in Nevada and it was way more smooth than this and i received the max. 500 a week. Here ill get 275..looking to move out of Florida again because there are no good paying jobs for college grads..its all 10 an hour junk. Tats my best advice to anyone looking t find a good job. I am only here because my dad is 84 and will soon pass..
