False, you have to be brain dead and/or mentally retarded to not find a minimum wage job in Florida.

They had a job fair for 1000 jobs here in West Palm for the opening of a new outlet mall.

5000 apparently showed up. Good people were hired on the spot. Also, minimum wage jobs are always advertised at bars and restaurants.

Quite false. Though minimum wage jobs are not so prevalent here. Close to minimum yes, lots of them.

I think it depends on the individuals who come. There are a lot of jobs in a lot of areas of employment but the lack of people qualified for most of them is a problem. If they cannot meet the requirement for the job, no job.

My friends are posting on FB every month saying their company needs an experienced accountant or marketer or financial analyst. If you don't have experience and degree than you can only blame yourself.

That is what I am saying. Any employer who has a job to be done is going to want someone that can do it and pay the price accordingly.

That is why I say lots of jobs but not many qualified applicants.
