Many Floridians will take a vacation during the holiday season and some will get away from the normal routine. Please provide your favorite vacationing location.

We normally go to St. Augustine, but this year we are going up north to Newburgh, NY... Family reunion....

Default The Smokies!

My favorite vacation spot is a cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. IMO, it's one of the most beautiful places on earth. For a virtual vacation, here's a link to the National Parks Service Great Smoky Mountains National Park (U.S. National Park Service)

i agree karen. for christmas, might as well go somewhere that is cold and makes it feel more like christmas! plus, it is very pretty there. nicer to look at mtns and trees rather than congestion and billboards!!!

but overall, fla has nice weather in the winter.
