We've had like 3 stories about parents killing their kids here in FL, in in less than a wk.

In the case in East TN, I bet the chances are very likely they knew the people. Maybe drug deal gone wrong?
3 min a week? Got anything to back up that claim?

This happens elsewhere as well... If it were FL it would be world news.

The volume should be higher as FL as more people living there and then millions of visitors which skews the numbers even more. The crime related to tourism is far higher than say in Nebraska and the same increase over the crime based on residency is typical of all States with high vacation travelers. Plus of course FL makes a nice target for the press and stories about FL are more interesting than say ND or WY, ID, etc.

I agree. FL really does stick out more (even on the map) because FL is what its. The world's vacation destination, good weather, all kinds of natural and man made attractions. Really, who cares about babies being microwaved in Idaho compared to it happening in FL?

Did you not hear about the father in North Port? Did you not hear about the baby? Or the Miami mom who killed her kid and the brother responds with "I think she is dead or something" when asked about it. 11 yrs old. Found her body in the freezer.
