I have never posted anything about my ten years down there that wasen't a fact. We just found that for us ( not everybody) it wasen't the place that we wanted to live full time. We just seem to be able to stay a lot more active doing outside activities up here in N.H. than we did in Florida. We have grand kids who are seriously into winter sports. That keeps us busy in probably the toughest season up here. Then we have spring, summer and fall which can't be beat. We still own property in Florida that we use a couple times a year. We just couldn't do it full time.
Why buy the whole pie when you only want a couple slices.

Been here about 6 years and absolutely love it. We moved from OH, but I lived in VA and VT previously. I wish we had moved here years earlier. I didn't think I could handle the heat or the bugs, but it turns out that I can!

I meant the indications from the users of the forums. I would be that even with the general public as a whole, you will find a very small percentage who dont want to be here. Why would they be here of they didnt prefer it over from where they came? They would just pack up the show and go as many do. Life is too short to be miserable, dont you think?

The only people who like FL are usually people from NY/NJ/PA. Most folks from elsewhere tend to move on after the allure of "living in FL" has worn off--usually by either moving back to where they came from or moving somewhere else entirely--because living around tons and tons of angry/deviant/bizarre NY/NJ/PA people gets real old, real fast.
