Hello,

I recently was pulled over by a state trooper for not having a valid Florida registration on my car. I have since gotten the registration but apparently it is a misdemeanor to not get this done so I have to appear in court. Since I have gotten the registration taken care of will I still be hit with a fine, or possibly have a misdemeanor on my record? Should I try to get a lawyer? Does anyone have any experience with this because any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Call the issuing authority. Make a deal. Ticket issued, deal with it.
