This is not a for or against medical pot thread, so please avoid that if possible. Thx much.

I have a severe chronic pain issue due to a deteriorating spine and failed spine surgery, leaving damaged nerves. Every drug I have tried has not worked, so I am now open to trying medical pot.

So I am wondering where Florida is with that and what the timeline will be, until my doc can prescribe it and I can buy it.......assuming my insurance will cover it.

Thx,

Jack

Vote at the polls Nov. 4 or earlier by mail.

Florida Right to Medical Marijuana Initiative, Amendment 2 (2014) - Ballotpedia

It won't pass if people don't vote.

The Cass circle area up in Spring Hill would be a good place to look. Up on the hill out behind the movie theatre on Hwy 50 is another good area.

They are projecting it to pass, but if the Republican gets re-elected as Governor, he will drag his feet as long as he can to postpone the opening of the dispensaries. He's already shut out the smaller entrepreneurs and is only letting five gigantic agri-businesses that he's nice and cozy with, grow all the cannabis for the state. So go vote for the proposition and vote against the guy currently in office who doesn't want it to pass.

Good luck to you.

Make sure you vote for Adrian Wyllie instead of that turtle governor or the chameleion.

I prefer to think of Scott and Crist as Nosferatu and Gollum, respectively.

I was considering voting for Wyllie but have been unable to get any specific answers from his camp regarding how he would go about realizing some of the goals he has espoused.

Elections make a mockery of the voting process anymore. Most people may as well bend over and grab their ankles.
