We are a young family that is considering options of relocating.
My husband is a welder and I'm looking for the best area that offers jobs in that field.
Any recommendations?

North Florida around the Jacksonville area also try Brevard County

Tampa has created the most jobs. However, as a welder, you might check the shipyards around Miami.

Big alternative, the Texas/LA gulf coast. With all the refineries,ongoing maintenance, barge and ship repair, big need for welders,

I would second Jacksonville. It has one of the largest shipyards on the East Coast and a more diverse economy than the rest of Florida in general along with a low unemployment rate, and is more affordable.

Lot's of welding jobs in Central PA where they are fracking. Also the oil wells in the Dakotas.
