lol, I washed cars. If I could make 12 dollars an hour when I was 16, there is no excuse for anyone with a BA degree to be making 10 at Burglar King.

The funny thing is the people in Orlando with Bachelors and Masters degrees making 10-13 dollars an hour in Orlando are working at so called corporate jobs (in call centers). The situation in Orlando is really sad.

When my kids were young and in school about 15 years ago, I did freelance cleaning for the elderly, all women living alone. I charged $15/hour with 4 hour minimum guarantee. Most of them lived in very small condos and it didn't take very long to clean their apartments. I would offer to run errands, drive them somewhere, etc., but all they wanted was for me to sit, have a cup of coffee, and just talk to them.

It seemed to me that wanted companionship more than cleaning.

Default sanibel is your answer

Sanibel is awesome. I have a duplex cottage there and rent it out seasonally.
If you are interested in living in a unique cottage home about 3 houses from a private beach and near the lighthouse, you need to look at my website.
www.cottageonseagrape.com I give special prices out of season (Jan-April is in season) but you have to stay at least 28 days. You would love it. While it is expensive to buy there, if you can rent, it's a once in a lifetime experience.
Zilch crime. A practically private K-7 school with pool, unreal arts/library/lectures and all sorts of intellectual and nature-oriented places which can be gotten to on bike or by lots of walking-paths on island. It's really lovely and near the Everglades, Ft Myers, Naples, and lots of shopping off island. Give it a try. It's wor
