I really like St George Street in St Augustine! It has such a cool feel with all of the little shops and pubs and restaurants and the old style architecture. Are there are streets in Florida that are like this that are worth checking out?

That street is pretty unique, the only place that somewhat resembles St.Augustine to me might be Key West.

St. Augustine is very unique just because of how old it is.

The only thing I can think of that is the least bit similar is Historic Pensacola Village on Zarragossa St.

St. George St is a one of a kind tourist area so it is hard to find anything that old and charming.

nowhere close to St. Augustine's vibe, but maybe worth a trip.

Old Downtown Melbourne has historic buildings that you see artists sitting out on the street painting. There are antigue shops, gift shops, clothing shops, restaurants, and bars that are cool. Spring Art Festival is coming up and a great time to visit. Melbourne Main Street - Welcome to Melbourne Main Street

I also remember going to Tarpon Springs, parking the car, and walking through a shopping area by thhe docks with a lot of history about the sponge divers that was really cool. Tarpon Springs Florida|Sponge Docks|Greek Restaurants|Epiphany|Sightseeing

Maybe even Cocoa Village would be worth a trip.

Mount Dora is a town you should check out if you like walkable historic downtown areas with nice shops and restaurants. It has a completely different feel from St Augustine and is often described as "New England-like" which is obviously a rare find in Florida. Florida isn't very historic for the most part.

Gulfport and Mount Dora are great; two of my favorite places in Florida.
They aren't remotely the Historic District of St Augustine.

Their upshot is they may be proportionally 'less discovered' than St Aug, which has really jumped the shark in the past 15 or so years. It held out for a long time but didn't really stand a chance at remaining 'quaint' forever.

Depends on what you consider is historic.......To me it is full of history and making history as we go.
No other state has the history of Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, thr space shuttle and so much more space history.

Shipwrecks maybe caused by people living here luring the ships into the shores.

Indian Wars.

Disney

How our ancestors lived as the state was settled.

And so much more.
