You'd be quite surprised by some of the things that go on in Naples too. There's no such thing as paradise down there I found. At least that's my opinion.

Ft Myers has some nice areas, just like Naples. And it's got some ridiculous priced gated communities. My in-laws live in one. Nice home with a pool on the lake in a high end gated community, but nothing to ga-ga over and it's worth well over a million bucks. You'd have to be nuts to pay that in my opinion. But to some, it's worth it.

The difference is Ft Myers is bigger and more congested and a little less expensive. As for crime, I'd say the difference is so minimal you'd probably not really notice. I think you learn quick what areas to stay out of. As long as you do you're pretty much okay in either town.

At least that's how it was when I left a couple years ago.

Default Fort Myers

Hi,
I lived in Ft Myers for 5 years and found it to be more accessible to the beach, golf courses, shopping and entertaiments activities. Cost of living is less expensive in Fort Myers than Naples. I'm also aware of what you are looking for. My e-mail address is rabricki@hotmail. Hope to heard from you.

I sincerely thank you all in advance for your replies.
There are a handful of bundled golf communities in Naples with prices under 150,000. Royal wood , Forest glen, ect.
