"Fairbanks Alaska has longer summer days than anywhere in Florida"

And of course longer winter days than anywhere in Florida.

Another one is that record highs in July and August on Long Island, NY are higher than in Key West.

are you sure that the Winter days in Alaska are longer?

and aren't all days 24 hours.

But I think Alaska being so north has longer summer days and shorter winter days. (meaning length of daylight)

Cattle and ranching did not originate in the West nor in Texas - as much as people would like to believe the movie industry - it started in Florida!

Some of the largest cattle ranches in the country are in Florida.

There is a kind of a horse native to Florida called the cracker horse....

So on and so on.
