People took that and centered on what I didn't want to know and threw it in my face instead of answering the question at hand.

If people are actually what you say in PSL, then I SHOULD fit right in. Not as sarcastically as I believe you're implying by putting your words in italics. You have no idea what kind of person I am just by a few posts with people fighting my opinion with their own. I always put others first and when I asked to be put first by getting things answered and having more options (if any) I getter opposite. So I'm frustrated and there is nothing wrong with that.

Now, unless I took your post the wrong way, is there anything on PSL or anywhere else is Florida that you would like to add that could better my lack luster knowledge on said areas? So far, from what the person said above, PSL is still my top pick but I really do want a second and third choice in case it doesn't work out job wise, area wise, etc.

Thanks to you and anyone else in advance!
If you actually listened to some of the people who live in a particular area instead of offhandedly dismissing their personal observations, you may find an area that would be worthy of consideration. There is a world of difference between living somewhere and researching from afar. I can tell you from experience that the statistics are rarely completely accurate. There are areas that are obviously less than desirable, but there are many areas that are quite safe and beautiful that get a bad rap due to adjacent areas.

That i can understand. I just think that you may have missed the fact that ive lived in those areas. I was in florida for a year and drove through all the places that i mentioned countless times. Went to doctors in oviedo/winter springs, shopping in sanford, family lived in winter park, looked at the apartments in lake mary, been through longwood with a friend who lives there and i settled in altamonte springs. I just didnt like the central area besides oviedo. And the places a little further like clermont the apartment prices were too much for the small sizes that they were. None the less, there is family in those areas that I dont want stopping by unnanounced because we are close enouh for them to. So i said 1-3 hours.

And so faaaaar, i found the places as mentioned and have yet to hear anything on those as apposed to the ones ive personally dealt with and didnt like. People would rather argue why im wrong about them instead of further the advice in what i was looking for. I dont want those areas. I literally dont want to drive ten minutes and worry/end up in the wrong parts of central florida like when i lived there. Whether i am right or wrong, my preference is tainted. And id like to have that respected and at least some questions answered.

So far, one person has actually done that and them, i am greatful.
