I don't get Mexico. It's a huge country and it has one REALLY BIG ASSET - COASTLINE. I look at it and see all of that coastline on both sides and don't understand why it isn't one of the most richest countries in the world based on a thriving year-round tourist industry. They say Mexico's people are undereducated, friendly and hard-working. A really good tourist industry built along the entire coastline would employ so many of its people in a wide variety of jobs. Even the drug lords could go straight and make a bundle (much like the American mob did in Vegas back in the early days of that city). They'd probably have to double the police force for the huge influx of tourists, and as the Mexican people took jobs in the tourist industry along the coastlines, the construction industry would boom, too, not just to build hotels, resorts, casinos, restaurants, etc., but to build schools and housing for its people that would want to live near their jobs. I know they have a few tourists spots now but it's nothing like what they could have. Jeez, Disney could put a theme park there.

They don't have a dictator but they sure could use a business visionary leader to get their economy going.

Uh, maybe some of the Florida developers should eyeball Mexico as their next best place. Okay, I was just trying to keep the post on-topic.

3/2 with garage (the garage has been set up as a bedroom with custom closets..optional 4th br) 1790 sq ft on a 6000 sq ft lot. Good neighborhood. Have to sell or I can't buy anything anywhere else.

Laura honestly great insight!!! Mostly the problem is the corrupt police and goverment. But they should get you as a consultant for their tourism. You sold me!!!

i suggest putting it in the paper... also, have you tried having an open house?

Good luck to you as I am in the same process, I need to sell in order to leave. My home has been on the MLS for about a week...the problem is that there are a total of 6 homes for sale on my block alone!

OH!

BTW, how many showings? What was the feedback?

I would advertise up north if the local MLS is not getting you anyplace. Newspapers are OK, but the net is where most people look now (places like craigslist are popular).

Again, Good Luck!

Can you advertize it in more sources? Try putting it on many websites and in the local newspaper too. Is that 1790 living a/c square feet? Thats not a bad price for the size, I did a search and it appears the average price is like $240 a living square foot! Can you PM me the MLS number so I can check it out(just curious what it looks like)

Default Realtor

We are going to be selling our home right after Christmas and relocate back to the midwest. Has anyone ever used Home Gain? We put our name out there as we would like an aggressive realtor.
