What is being done about the epidemic of flakka abuse in Florida now? Is Rick Scott have an action plan for dealing with this?

Write your rep. Rick Scott isn't a dictator of Florida. The legislator passes the laws.

More laws don't mean any better results. We have been trying to stomp out heroin abuse for decades. Only thing we have done is put low-end pushers into jail, usage remains constant. The DARE programs in schools are laughed at by the kids. Same with PSAs. People who abuse drugs are going to abuse drugs, and some will lead to death.

They should open a safe house where they can use as much as they want as long as they understand once you enter the safe house, you can never leave ;P

People have been getting high since the beginning of time, trying to stop peoples quest to get high IMO is a total waste of time and money as people are going to get high irregardless of laws. In my earlier days i was a habitual pot smoker, there was never a day that i couldnt go out and buy the stuff, my kids tell me it was harder to buy alcohol than it was to buy any drug you happen to like when they were going to high school .(No they didnt partake).
Flakka? if it was around back in the 60s i'd probably have given it a try.

If someone is stupid enough to use this crap , it's not FDA approved, why expect others to be more concerned with their poor choices, and bad results than they themselves are?

Do you think it was this flakka crap that made that man go nuts down in South Beach a few years ago and eat the face off some homeless man? There was all this coverage of the "South Beach Cannibal" and though people were convinced he was on something called 'bath salts' (Calgon, take him away indeed!), the police later said there were no traces of that drug in his system. From what I read about how these people on flakka behave, it seems likely this guy in South Beach may have been using it before it caught on.
