Sounds like the problem is whoever was in the second lane. They must have seen the emergency vehicle and should have known that the driver in the right lane was going to merge in front of them.

It's so different where I'm living in Western NC. People are so polite here. There are many 4 way stops and sometimes it's hard to determine who arrived at the intersection first. Someone will smile and just wave me on as if to say "Have a nice day." Haven't seen anyone flip the bird yet either or yell out of a car window. It's so different where I'm living in Western NC. People are so polite here. There are many 4 way stops and sometimes it's hard to determine who arrived at the intersection first. Someone will smile and just wave me on as if to say "Have a nice day." Haven't seen anyone flip the bird yet either or yell out of a car window. So either I'm a much better driver all of a sudden, or people in Florida are out of control.
