Not so long as most northerners relocating here are retirees and blue collar workers with a shared delusion of a subtropical utopia.

I'd be willing to wager the numbers from NY/NJ are significantly higher in the Southeast FL tri-county area.

^^^and in Central FL too. I meet waaaaaay more ppl from NY or NJ than natives. Its not even close.

I'm curious how many Floridians move away. My experience has been that us natives end up coming back to FL after finishing up school/training elsewhere almost always.

Retirement, tourism and agriculture with pockets of aerospace and defense. Good jobs in those industries if you have the right skills/degrees

No.

Go up to North GA, TN and the Carolinas. Tons of native Floridians up there. Many, many young to middle aged people with families.

Fine, still in the southeast. How many settle in Midwest or the northeast? Again, it's all anecdotal experience but I rarely see natives I've known move to the northeast or out west as much as I see others move in

Not sure anout the NE or out West. I think most native Floridans go to the Carolinas, GA, and TN.
