Uh, what???

And no, a bagel is not just "a bagel." Try a Montreal-style bagel, for example. The process to make it is completely different than a traditional, everyday bagel, and as such, tastes and feels different.

Lots of places around the country use commercial pizza cheese. Its real cheese but a blend of various cheeses and certainly added vegetable oils to make it easier to get out of the bucket. Little Cesar's is not even commercial pizza cheese, its their own concoction.

What is the best pizza cheese? Without a doubt Mozzarella.

Oh, it goes beyond pizza and bagels. Is it better on the East Coast of Florida for Latkes, Kugel, Pastrimi, Corned Beef, etc.? Certainly, not on the West Coast of Florida.

VEAL is another. No, Chicken Parm or Pork Snitzel is not authentic either. It is not up North, and certainly not in Italy or Germany. What does Florida have against veal dishes? Expensive and not easy to cook like either chicken or pork? We have had to search high and wide to get either Italian or German dishes made with veal, and it has been a major disappointment. Expensive, and like rubber. IF I can find veal, I make it myself rather than go to a restaurant.

No, it is not only bagels and pizza. No, it is not just "New York" either, but the countries where the dishes originated.

OK. I'll add "no veal" to the list of NY complaints about Florida.

Water straight from the East River?

I'm kidding, I wouldn't know the difference if my life depended on it.

Somewhere in this Land of Oz otherwise known as Flourida as the Floridians say is the Emerald City. In that place lies a bagel with cream cheese. It must be found. It must exist. But...where?

Move to Delray Beach.

Thank goodness. It should be banned.

What mountain minerals in water does Florida have? Lot of chlorine and fluoride in the water, maybe. Natural minerals? None.
