I'd drop Palm Coast and Poinciana from the list in favor of Perry and Panama City.

I'm visiting Key West and concluded that unless you have a ton of money or are retired military with access to the amenities on the Naval Base, you probably don't want to live here......too many odd, deranged people, slum looking housing, flooding, standing water on the streets after heavy or prolonged rain, etc etc etc......but since I'm military, I might be able to make it a go.....

Hell no. Palm Coast is a pit stain. Poinciana is worse.

Perry- still 1948 there, though at least in the 1990s they got rid of the restaurant where black patrons had to do takeout orders from the back because the owner wouldn't let them be seated in the dining room.

Panama City- come here to party like it's 1978- all kinds of liquor stores, 1940s motels that are still vaguely in business and rent by the hour. 1940s motels that are somewhat intact but abandoned, 1940s motels where only the restaurant remains and in half the cases, that restaurant went out of business in 2006 and nothing ever went back in there.

Both far worse places than mediocre examples of suburbia.

Palm coast isn't bad. Pretty much a retiree area near the beach

Palm Coast is an overcrowded suburb with constant traffic and no sense of identity or community. And everyone there is from NY. No thanks.

Doesn't mean the list is accurate. Any blowhard can create a list like that and publish it. It's very subjective
