While it's not much of something I want to research too deeply into, quick reads indicate that at least 10% of Manhattan residents are millionaires. That's roughly 150,000. Out of that, I assume at least 15,000 earn over 2.5M... I may be wrong, but I think it's a fair assumption, especially considering the amount of "celebrities" (I hate that word) living there.

Either way... They can have it. Manhattan is nice to visit, but I certainly wouldn't want to live there.

Edit: There are 389,000 millionaires in Manhattan...

Just one small quibble but being a "millionaire" doesn't mean you make annually 1 million a year plus. There are plenty of "millionaires" (as measured in their total assets) who make 250,000k a year.

For example, Sean Puffy Combs has a net worth of almost a billion dollars yet earns annually about 30 million. If you earned 2.5 million annually for a decade, that would be 25 million in just liquid capital but ofc if you were a wise investor, and put it in real estate or stocks, you'd probably have a net worth of about 100 million after a decade of making 2.5 million continuously.

I know... That is true. Just threw that out to indicate why I would assume the possibility of 1% of Manhattan-residents make that much. As I said, chances are I'm wrong, but I wouldn't doubt the possibility.

PLEASE tell EVERYONE you know or contact of your opinion. That should keep people of your mentality far far away from me.

I will note that I heard The Clan is active in Pasco County. I am not sure about Hernando County but in Brooksville the old hanging tree is still there just outside of the courthouse. They havent used it in years.
I hear now days they run you through a wood chipper and feed what is left to the gators in the rivers.

Pasco County is huge, and east Pasco is 100% different from west Pasco, or even south Pasco. I lived in Dade City for 12 years, and it was one of the most beautiful and friendliest places in Florida. Still a relatively undiscovered gem. It is the county seat for Pasco, and there are also Pasco Hernando Community College, and St. Leo University. I think certain trol.....(ahem) posters need to get out more.

As for Florida, I am a second generation native, born and raised and they are going to have to blast me out of here. I now live (with my sweet husband) in the beautiful Sarasota/Manatee area and thank my lucky stars every day that I get to live here. Two blocks from the bay, just a few miles to the beach, and just down the road from me the spectacular Ringling Museum. And that is just for starters.

I have worked with plenty of rich folk in my time. What folks fail to realize the lower 1% feel the poorest of any income group.

You could make $600k a year and barely scrap by in a rich expensive neighborhood and at country club, at work at church you rub elbows with folks making Sixty Million a year.

Once I did a tax return back in the dot come bubble and Joe Blow middle class, 1,500 square foot house with a ten year old car timed it just right at a start up where he owned a good amount of it as the co-founder, started with two guys. He cleared 90 million in IPO. Yep his income tax return said 90 Million. Yet he always referred to folks as being rich, would say that is for rich folks, stayed in his house, shops at Kohls. Etc. He never felt rich. He feels somone who makes 90 million a year is rich. Not some who makes that much one time. He still clears around ten million a year in dividends and interest and still has a one million a year job. And still sits in Upper Deck at Baseball games, eats at McDonalds and sent kids to state schools as he cant afford private school.
