Check out Brevard County.......60 miles of beaches. Most of the time we are the only people we see when walking at beaches that are not right at the end of a causeway.
Prices are reasonable. Just over an hour to Orlando. 3 to Miami, Jacksonville, or Tampa.

How about Manasota Key? We have never found it as populated as some of the other SW FL beaches can get.

I would recommend some of the old-Florida style beaches like Cedar Key, Cape Haze/Boca Grande, Indian Rocks Beach or Melbourne Beach.

I live in Ormond by the Sea which is between the city of Ormond Beach and Flagler Beach, it's mostly quiet here except for bike-week and Biketoberfest. The beach here is pretty quiet in most of Ormond by the sea. The beach has wood structures over the barrier dune about every half mile and the beach goes on for 60 miles. There are several parks with amenities where most folks prefer to go, leaving the areas in between with few visitors and mostly residents that walk to the beach from their homes.
