1; you believe that "god allmighty himself could never ever survive even a category 1 hurricane 75 miles inland"
2; you do not like being waved at and said "hi" to on the streets or at the beach
3; you want absolutely nothing to do with the community or anybody who does not live right next door to you.
4; you love snow and winter's deep freeze.
5; you do not think that florida wants to improve more.
6; you think that florida is "terrible", but you do not realize that there are places on this planet that are a million times worse than florida.
7; you have not seen how bad cities like detroit, st louis, paterson, chicago, and los angeles are.
8; you enjoy watching the sun set at 4:15 or earlier
9; you enjoy freezing your butt off several months a year, keeping all your windows closed and sealed up, suffering carbon monoxide poisoning, and having a heart attack while shoveling snow.
10; you're trying to catch hypothermia riding your bicycle.

Yup, you sure can, but they are not the norm. The problem is that Florida has a HIGH CONCENTRATION of them.

Not that I care. I don't live their anymore!

You like it? You can have it!

As a former Floridian(sp?) a agree with this post. And CityGirl I lived 45 minute south of South Beach and yes it was fun but I was 21 at the time. Now at 27 I'm glad I left as it is way to over populated for my taste.

But why do you have to keep coming back here to tell us we can have it? Aren't you in Tennessee?
BTW
There is not a high concentration of any of that in northwest Florida

Why? Because I can.

And because a lot of the people on these threads have a great sense of humor.

I agree about northwest Florida. That is not what we are complaining about.

I think that northwest Florida is great. Really great. That is more like Florida use to be.

Oh, and I also have Florida in my face everyday. Those same Fort myers jerks that I complain about? They are moving HERE. To Tennessee. I am seriously considering going to northwest Florida if they completely destroy the place!

lol- yeah- its the concentration of them that makes it bad- Yamato Road in PBC in 1999 was sometimes quiet. The year we left (2005) there was a 15 (yes 15) car pileup (Lexus SUV's mostly). If I wanted to live in the midst of that I would just stay in NYC. Midtown Manhattan is safer than drivers in S. Florida.
