Caribbean Cruise Line Fined $500,000 for Illegal Robocalls | TravelPulse

Can't get a human being yet, but vow never to use Carnival for a cruise.

Anyone else in FL getting these?

Will Pam Bondi do anything or has she been bought off by them as well?

Surprised they're doing this after being fined.

I'm on the No-Call list -

Thanks for the full on belly laugh about "the possibility" of Bondi being corrupted by money.

Got one again today from a resort business hiding behind a political survey. I asked them for their contact info and said I was on the Federal and State no-call list and woulet report them to FL Atty General. Granted she's busy defending her bribery from Trump, but that's another issue. The guy hung up quickly. I do think even know if there's a Fed list. Is there?

BucFan, did you ever consider getting rid of your landline? I did, went to a voice over IP solution, that isn't listed in the "white pages". My VOIP solution is free. Other solutions are not free, but cost far less than the 30 odd dollars a month that you would pay for traditional voice telephony.

OK, if you are getting "voice spam" on your cell phone, sorry if my reply is irrelevant.

I use my cell phone number as my trash number....the number I give out. Landline number is protect. Rather not be bothered at home. But now that you mention it.....might do it.

Ummm.... why the vow to never use Carnival for a cruise? I'm confused by your post and statement.

Ditched the landline--didn't really need it anyway. They can't bother you with a cell phone (yet). Just wait till the lobbyists make it legal to robocall cell phones. In an election year in a swing state--you don't want a landline.

If you've already registered with the Do Not Call Registry, file an online report with the FCC--it's pretty effective. If you haven't registered, register now.

Ah, OK. I've cruise on Carnival many times and thought maybe there was some connection that I wasn't aware of.
