I asked an atty friend say twisted words. I voted NO. Now see there is a suit to take it off the ballot. Too late right??

Power companies want to pay less for your solar power because it's worth less to them.
They have to maintain infrastructure and pay an artificially mandated rate for your excess power which does little to cover the cost of the infrastructure to your house. That additional cost is passed to everybody else.
Solar users tied to the grid are a leach on society unless you go off grid and maintain your own storage system.
A power company would much rather cut you loose altogether rather than you hang on for just a few bucks a month.
